About our Montessori Caregiver program
Our Montessori Caregiver program offers an alternative to the traditional nanny or au pair, combining Montessori-informed education and care.
All of our Caregivers have completed our certified Montessori in the Home course, and many are enrolled in our full Montessori teacher accreditation program.
Our team will help you set up a home environment with the right furniture and equipment, along with providing key Montessori materials, to support your child’s burgeoning independence.
A combination of education and care
Our unique Montessori Caregiver network is powered by our online Guidepost curriculum and training to enable facilitation of our virtual programs, alongside care.
We offer Caregivers for private placement or the potential for a shared home pod with other families in your area. Available for:
- Early Years children ages 0-6
- Elementary Years children ages 6-12

- What is the difference between a Caregiver, Nanny and a Guide?
Our Montessori Caregivers work with Early Years children to provide a high degree of child care and are most commonly referred to as a Nanny. As the child ages, our Caregivers operate more like Guides who work with pre-school and Elementary Years children to provide an increasing degree of education support and facilitation with our existing virtual programs. The ability to provide varying degrees of education support and child care is what makes our Montessori Caregiver program unique.
- Do I pay my Caregiver directly, or do I pay Guidepost?
- What if the Caregiver calls in sick? Do you provide backup care?
